Ah, Winter, When A Young Man’s Fancy Turns To Love

December 3, 2011 § 5 Comments

I have been provided with the story idea, courtesy of one Mr. Tanis, our lucky winner.

He asks for, quote:

Two lovers (gender, species whatever doesn’t matter) who never thought they would be reunited again, actually do reunite against impossible odds.

Romance? In my stories? It’s apparently more likely than you think. This would mark the second story that I’ve done with strong romantic elements, once I’ve, y’know, actually written the thing. How do I feel about it? While the romance in a story wouldn’t be the reason I pick up a book, every good book I’ve read has romance in it in some way or another. This will be interesting, and difficult in its own way.

Unless I do a joking story about two giraffes ambulating about the world, trying to get together for some hot and heavy neck-rubbing. That will probably not happen.

Nothing much will happen yet, particularly since I want to make more headway through Ash, but stay tuned.
